Description: Court Ordered Supervised Visitation time facilitated by neutral, un-biased Trained to follow state standards (California Rules of Court, Standard 5.20). Supervised visitation is a court-ordered arrangement where a child spends time with a parent in the presence of a neutral third party, known as a supervisor or monitor. This is ordered when there are safety concerns, such as allegations of domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health issues, or risk of child abduction. The supervisor's role is to ensure the child's safety and well-being, which involves being present, observing the interaction, and reporting on the visit. These visits are offered off-site. Description: A "monitored exchange" is a supervised process for parents to exchange children, designed to ensure the child's safety and prevent conflict between parents. This service is typically used in cases with high conflict or domestic violence and involves a neutral third party facilitating the handover at a designated location, pre-determined at Intake and Orientation. These services are often court-ordered, though they can sometimes be arranged by agreement.

Description: These monitors have been trained in Applied Behavior Analysis and have experience with Special Needs.

Description: For child transport during supervised visitation. These services provide safe and neutral transportation to and from visits, often with staff trained to handle family dynamics and ensure safety. Transport services may be required for cases involving the County of San Diego's child welfare services or court-ordered mandates.  ALL Happy Days Visitation's PPSVs are insured to transport.

Description: Supervised Visitation services provided for overnights and holidays. These supervisors will also accommodate travel.

Supervised visitation observation reports are written records documenting interactions between a parent and child during a supervised visit, which is ordered by a court to ensure the child's safety. These reports are prepared by a neutral third party (the monitor) and include details like the date and time of the visit, participants, activities, and the children's emotional and physical responses. They serve as an official record of the visit, and professional reports can be used by parents to petition the court to modify or terminate the supervision order.

What is included in a report

• Basic information: Date, time of the visit, and the names of all participants (e.g., parent, child, monitor).
• Activities and interactions: A factual, detailed account of what happened during the visit, including the activities the parent and child engaged in.
• Child's behavior: Documentation of the children's physical and emotional responses to the parent and the situation.
• Monitor's interventions: Any actions the monitor took to ensure safety or to correct a problem, such as intervening in an argument or ending the visit.
